AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT-CLAIM
DEED CONVEYING TO WILLIAM R. TWEEDIE AND ADELAIDE TWEEDIE,
HUSBAND AND WIFE, AND LILLIAN T. BRUERE ANY AND ALL INTEREST
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MAY HAVE IN PART OF OUTLOT NO. 78 IN THE
fir CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. .. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to

execute a Quit-Claim Deed conveying to William R. Tweedie and Adelaide Tweedie,
husband and wife, and Lillian T. Bruere any and all interest the City of Jefferson
may have in Part of Outlot No. 78 in the City of Jefferson more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the southerly line of Outlot
numbered eleven (11) on the Plat of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
with the easterly line of Oak Street and running thence southwardly
along the easterly line of Oak Street four hundred and ninety-seven
(497) feet to a stake; thence on a line eastwardly parallel to the
southerly line of said Outlot numbered eleven (11) two hundred and
ninety-seven and forty-six hundredths (297. 48) feet to a stake; thence
northwardly on a line parallel to the easterly line of Oak Street four
hundred and ninety-seven (497) feet to the southerly line of said Outlot
numbered eleven (11); thence westwardly along the southerly line of
said Outlot numbered eleven (11) to the place of beginning, embracing
a part of Outlot numbered seventy-eight (78).
Section 2. Said Quit-Claim Deed shall read in words and figures as
follows:

THIS INDENTURE, Made on the, day of May, 1068, by and
Oretween the City of Jefferson City, a municipal corporation of the State of
Missouri, party of the First Part, and William R. Tweedie and Adelaide Tweedie,
husband and wife, and Lillian T. Bruere, parties of the Second Part.
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the First Part in consideration of
the sum of One Dollar ($1. 00) and other valuable consideration to it paid by the
said parties of the Second Part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and
by virtue and in pursuance of an Ordinance of the City Council of said party of the
First Part, does, by these presents, Remise, Release and forever Quit-Claim unto
the said parties of the Second Part and their heirs and assigns, the following des-
ribed real estate lying, being and situated in the County of Cole and City of
Jefferson, to wit:
Commencing at the intersection of the southerly line of Outlot

along the easterly line of Oak Street four hundred and ninety-seven

numbered eleven (11); thence westwardly along the southerly line of
said Outlot numbered eleven (11) to the place of beginning, embracing
a part of Outlot numbered seventy-eight (78).
TO IIAVE AND TO HOLD the same with all the right, immunities, privi-

and their heirs and assigns, Forever; so that neither the said party of the First
Part, nor any other person or persons for it and in its name or behalf, shall or
will hereafter claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises, or any
part thereof, but they and every one of them shall, by these presents, be excluded
and forever barred.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said party of the First Part has, by Ordinance
duly adopted, caused these presents to be signed by its Mayor and attested to by

On this 74' day of May, 1968, before me personally appeared John
G. Chrlaty, to me personally known, who, being by me duly sworn, did say that
he is the Mayor of the City of Jefferson City and that the foregoing instrument
was signed on behalf of said City by authority of its City Council. And the said
John G. Christy acknowledges said instrument to be the free act and deed of said
City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
official seal at my office in Jefferson City, the day and year first above written.
