ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 5880 OF THE CITY BY ADDING SUBPARAGRAPH (. 17) TO SECTION 1102
OF SAID ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE USE OF LAND IN DISTRICT "F" HIGHWAY
COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION FOR MOTION PICTURE THEATERS.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Jefferson,
' Missouri, by a Report to the aty Council, recommended that Section 1102 of
Ordinance Number 5880, the Zoning Ordinance, be amended by adding thereto
a new subparagraph numbered (. 17) authorizing the use of land in District "F"
Highway Commercial Classification for motion picture theaters, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri, through its Clerk, caused
a notice of hearing by the Council on the recommendation of said Commission
to be published in a newspaper as required by law, in which notice all persons
` were invited to appear and be heard at the time and place of the hearing on the
recommendation of said Commission, and
WHEREAS, on April 16, 1968, the Council conducted the public hearing
,a- at the time and place specified in said notice, hearing all views of everyone

Ah desiring to be hear, now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIDE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1102 of Ordinance Number 5880 of the City, known
as the Zoning Ordinance, is, and the same is hereby, amended by adding a
new subparagraph to be known as subparagraph (. 17) thereto which shall read
in words and figures as follows:
"Section 1102. Use Regulations. A building or premises
shall be used only for the following purposes:

17. Motion Picture Theaters.
Section 2. All other existing provisions of Section 1102, as amended,
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and approval.
