ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED
INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND
FROM A DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "F" HIGHWAY
COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Jefferson? Missouri, was
petitioned in writing to rezone land from its present District "E" Local
Commercial Classification to a District "F" Highway Commercial Classifi-
cation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City Planning
and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing,
study and consideration, by its report to the City Council recommended that
the land described hereinafter should be rezoned, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, by and
through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the purpose of
rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a newspaper of general
circulation within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of publi-
cation having been more than fifteen days preceding the date of the hearing
by the City Council, wherein such notice of rezoning all interested parties
were requested to appear before the City Council at the time and place speci-
fied therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressing
their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, on this
17th day of June, 1968,• conducted said hearing and heard the views of all
persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter de-
scribed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as
incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said city, is hereby
changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the following-
described property from District "E" Local Commercial Classification to
District "'FI' Highway Commercial Classification and the following-described V4

property is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
I'Lots 26, 27, 280 29, 36? 370 38 and 39 of the
W. A. Beck Addition to the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
per plat at page of Plat Book of record in
the Cole County Recorder's Office."
Section 2, This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
