ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING
A DEED TO CERTAIN LAND IN THE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE
RECORDATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the 'City of Jefferson, Missouri
is hereby authorized and directed to accept., for and in behalf

of the city, a Quit Claim Deed executed by the Housing Authority
j: of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, conveying certain described
land to the city.
Section 2. Said Quit Claim deed shall read in words and
figures as follows:

XNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the Jefferson City Community Center
Association, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State
of Missouri, having its principal office in the City of Jefferson, in the
County of Cole and State of Missouri, Party of the First Part, hereinafter
called the Grantor, in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other good
and valuable consideration, to it paid by the City of Jefferson, of the County
of Cole and the State of Missouri, Party of the Second Part, hereinafter called
the Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,~ and by virtue and
pursuant to a RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS of said Grantor, does by
these presents, R ►. SE, RELEASE and forever QUIT-CLAIM unto said Grantee the
following described tracts or parcels of land, lying, being and situated in
the County of Cole and State of Missouri, to wit:

Part of Lots 58 through 68 of Little and Keyes Subdivision of Outlot
15 and 16, City of Jefferson, Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 1,
Page 14, Cole County Recorder's Office, and part of the vacated Ashley
Street Right of. Way and being more particularly described as follows :
Starting at the southwest corner of Lot 68, 8roceed along the westerly
line of Lots 68, 67, 66, 65 and 64, North 35 -36' East, a distance of
139.5 feet to the point of beginning.
Beginning at this point, proceed South 18°-55 ' West, a distance of
60.20 feet; thence along a circular curve (whose center lies South 110-5 '
East, a distance of 50 feet) , a distance of 104.72 feet; thence South 180-55 '
West, a distance of 11.1 feet to the centerline of vacated Ashley Street;
thence along aforesaid centerline South 540-24' East, a distance of 52.2;.
thence North 18°-55 ' East, a distance of 26.1 feet; thence along a
circular curve (whose center lies North 110-5 ' West, a distance of 50 feet),
a distance of 104.72 feet; thence North 18°-55' East a distance of 138.2
feet to a point of curvature; thence along a circular curve (whose center
lies normal to aforesaid line a distance of 793.51 feet) , a distance of
117.17 feet to the westerly line of Lots 58 through 68; thence along the
westerly line of Lots 58 through 68 South 350-36 ' West, a distance of
203.1 feet tb the point of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said party of the second part,
and its successors and assigns Forever, so that neither the said grantor
nor its successors or assigns nor any other person or persons claiming
for it or in its name or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand
y any right or title to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof; but it and
'% everyone of them shall be, by these presents, excluded and forever barred.

Section 3. Upon delivery of the deed to the Mayor, the
Clerk of the City shall cause same to be recorded in the
office of Recorder of Deeds, Cole County, Missouri.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
