AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ACCEPTING
A DEED TO CERTAIN LAND IN THE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR THE
RECORDATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri
Aft is hereby authorized and directed, for and in behalf of the
City, to accept a Quit Claim Deed executed by The Jefferson
City Community Center Association, conveying certain land
to the city.
Section 2. Said Quit Claim Deed shall read in words and
figures as follows:

KNOW ALL MEN BY T11ESE PRESENTS: That the Housing Authority of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, a Municipal Corporation, a corporation organized and
existing under the laws of the State of Missouri, having its principal office
in the City of Jefferson, in the County of Cole and State of Missouri, Party
of the First Part, hereinafter called the Grantor, in consideration of the
sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration, to paid by
the City of Jefferson, of the County of Cole and the State of Missouri, Party
of the Second Part, hereinafter called Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and by virtue and pursuant to a RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS of said Grantor, does by these presents, REMISE, RELEASE and
forever (QUIT-CLAIM unto said Grantee the following described tracts or parcels
of land, lying, being and situated in the County of Cole and State of Missouri;
to wit:
Part of Lots 10 and 11 of the Cox Subdivision of Outlot 17,
City of Jefferson, Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 44,
Cole County Recorders Office.
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot No. 10 proceed westerly
along the northerly line of Lot 10 North 54°-24 ' West, a distance of
1.75 feet; thence South 350-36 ' West, a distance of 6.0 feet to the
point of curvature; thence along a circular curve (whose center lies
South 54°-24.' East, a distance of 843.51 feet) a distance of 53.98
feet; thence North 35°-36' East, a distance of 59.94 feet to the
point of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said party of the second part,
and its successors and assigns Forever', so that neither the said grantor
nor its successors or assigns nor any other person or persons claiming
for it or in its name or behalf, shall or will hereafter claim or demand
any .,right or. title to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof; but it and
' everyone of theti shall be, by these presents, excluded and forever barred.

MISSOURI, a Municipal Corporation, the said Grantor, has caused these presents
to be signed by its Chairman and attested by its Vice Chairman, and corporate

Section 3. Upon delivery of the deed to the Mayor, the
Clerk of the City shall cause same to be recorded in the
S office of the Recorder of Deeds , Cole County, Missouri.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
