AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING A CERTAIN
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT "A-1" SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "I" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "A-1" Single Family Residential Classification
to District 10I" Light Industrial Classification, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did refer said petition for rezoning
to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration,
hearing and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hear-
ing, study and consideration did recommend to the City Council that
the land hereinafter described be rezoned as hereinafter provided,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
by and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the
purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
Alk days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein
such notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressin
their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of
the Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on the 16th day of September, 1968, conducted said hearing and hear
Ithe views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
+ithe land hereinafter described.
60W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning a of the City of Jefferson Missouri

as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said
city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the
rezoning of the following described property from its present
District "A-1" Single Family Residential Classification to District
"I" Light Industrial Classification, and the following described
property is, and it is hereby rezoned accordingly:
"A part of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section 2, Township 44, Range 12, and a part of the
East half of the Northwest quarter of Section 11, Township
44, Range 12, particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 11; thence
west along the Section line, 103. 6 feet; thence north
parallel with the west line of the Southeast quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 2, for a distance of
801.9 feet; thence west parallel with the south line of
said Section, 736.0 feet; thence south parallel with the
west line of the southeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 2 and the West line of the East half
of the North west quarter of Section 11, to the North
R/W line of Highway 50; thence easterly along said
Highway R/W to the east line of the Northeast quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 11; thence north 5
degrees 21 minutes west along said east line to the point
of beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
