N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING A CERTAIN
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT "A-1" SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL CLASSIFICATION TO "F" HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "A-1" Single Family Residential Classifications
to District "F" Highway Commercial, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did refer said petition for rezoning
to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration,
Baring and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing ,
study and consideration did recommend to the City Council that the
land hereinafter described be rezoned as hereinafter provided, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
y and through its City Clerk has caused a notice of hearing for the
purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive days in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein
AM uch notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
herein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressing
heir views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of
he Planning and Zoning Commission, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
n the 16th day of September, 1968, conducted said hearing and hear ',
he views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described.
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
- JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said
city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the
rezoning of the following described property from its present
District "A-1" Single Family Residential Classification to District
"F" Highway Commercial Classification, and the following described
property is , and it is hereby rezoned accordingly:
"Part of the N.E.'k, N.W.'k and part of the S.E.k, N.W.k
all of Sec . 11, T. 44, R. 12, that lies between St.
Marys Blvd. and new Hwy. 50, described as follows:
Fro$ the N.E.Cor. , N.W.k, Sec. 11, T.44, R.12, thence
S.2 56' W. along the k Sec. Line a distance of 588.35
to a point on the southerly R/W line of new Hwy. 50
and the point $f beginning of this description; thence
continuing S 2 56' W. 351.97' to a point on the north-
erly R/W line of St. Marys Blvd. ; thence S. 58 52 W. ,
301.5' along the northerly R/W line of said St. Marys
Blvd. ; thence S. 70051' W. 642.15 ' along the northerly
R/W line of said St. Marys Blvd. ; thence N. 2056'E. ,
367.25' to a point on the southerly R/W line of new
Hwy. 50; thence in an easterly direction along the
southerly R/W of said Hwy. and on a curve to the left
having a radius of 5,894.65 ' a distance of 182.84' to
highway station 671 & 87.05; thence N. 67026'09" E.
along the southerly R/W line of said Hwy. a distance
of 731.64' to Highway Station 679 & 18.69; thence in
an easterly direction along the southerly R/W Line of
said highway and on a curve to the right having a
radius of 2,699. 93 ' a distance of 19.69 to the point
of beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after .its passage and approval.
