LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING OR ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY OF
FPAMaIN STREET FROM THE WEST CURB LINE OF MONROE STREET, WESTERL
208 FEET FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE SAID ROADWAY BY PAVING AND
GUTTERING WITH PORTLAND CEMENT. �
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
' I MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Y. SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate
and cost price per front foot: as specified in Section 2 of this
Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting
or abutting on the roadway of Franklin Street, from the west curb
line of Monroe Street, westerly 208 feet for the improvement of
the roadway of Franklin Street, aforesaid, the sum of $3,513 .75 a
L the total costs of the impro-vement of said street and the number
r_ of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway of said Franklin
j Street, aforesaid, from the west curb line of Monroe Street,

westerly 208 feet, amount to 291.75 running feet; the cost price I

SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of
said roadway of Franklin Street, frOUL the west curb line of
Monroe Street, westerly 208 feet, there is hereby levied and i
assessed the sutra of $12.043701 as a special tax against each
front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway of Frankli�
Street, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or

abutting said improved roadway of said Franklin Street..
�I SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and
the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or
abutting on each side of Franklin Street and the number of front

SECTION 4. That the city Clerk is hereby instructed to make
out special tax bills in favor of the contractor, Roy A. 5cheperle
Construction Company, for the within mentioned work in accordance
with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative
to said kind of work and in accordance with the Charter of said
City in regard to said work.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
