PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY, PRESCRIBING
+IA PRESUMPTION, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
I�'BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
IMISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Parking- Busses Prohibited. The operator of any

�I Section 2. Presumption to AlZ. In any prosecution for a
I'Violation of an rovision of Section 1 hereof, proof that the

,vehicle described in the complaint was parked in violation of any

of the provisions of Section 1, together with proof that the

!deferi.dant named in the complaint was at the time of such parking
ii
tY+.e owner of the vehicle, shall constitute in evidence a prima facie
I
presumption that the owner of the vehicle was the person who Parked
r,
i;the vehicle at the point where, and at the time during which, such
l!
l'violation occurred.

' Section 3. Penalty. Any person violating any of the provi-
�isions of Section 1 hereof shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
11and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than one hundred
0 ($100 .00) dollars or be imprisoned not more than 90 days, or incur I

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect i
