AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI REGULATING
THE PARKING OF COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES AND RECREATIONAL
MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE STREETS AND PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAYS IN
THE CITY, PRESCRIBING A PRESUMPTION AND PROVIDING A PENALTY
FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Parking prohibited. Commercial motor vehicles

Section 2. Parking Prohibited. Recreational motor vehicles
such as campers , travel trailers, boat trailers and other
vehicles converted for recreational use are prohibited from

being parked on any street or city right of way in any
residential area of the city zoned in District "AA!' , or

"A-l" or "A-2" Single Family Residence or District "B" Two

Family Residence at any time between the hours of
and 5:00 a.m. on any day of the week.

Section 3. Misdemeanor. Any person parking a motor

vehicle as defined in Section 1 or Section 2 above in
violation of either Section 1 or 2 shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor.

Section 4. Presumption to Apply. In any prosecution for

of the vehicle, shall constitute in evidence a prima facie
presumption that the owner of the vehicle was the person
who parked the vehicle at the point where, and at the time

Section 5. Penalty. Any person violating any of the
