ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECI-
FICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT T'AA" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE
CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "I" LIGHT INDUNSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petition ed in writing to rezone land from its present District
"AA" Single Family Residence Classification to a District "I" Lightl
Industrial Classification; and
i WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City

Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and
recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hear-
Zing, study and consideration, by its report to the City Council
recommended that the land described hereinafter should be rezoned;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
by and through its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearing, for
the purpose of rezoning, to be published three consecutive days in !I
a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
;days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein)
notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
;appear before the City Council at the time and place specifified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and express-
ing their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation
of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on this 3rd day of March, 1969, conducted said hearing and heard
the views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF i

Section 1. The zoning map of the Cityof Jefferson, Missouri,
as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said
, city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the
rezoning of the following des: � >ed property from District "AA"
Single Family Residence Classification to District "I" Light
Industrial Classification, and the following described property
(is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
1 "A 4.34 acre tract of land at the southeast corner of
the intersection of Missouri Highway 179 (Rock Hill
Road) and Boonville Road, bounded on the west by
` Missouri Highway 179, on the north by Boonville Road,
i and on the east and south by the centerline of Gray's
Creek.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect: and be in force
from and after its passage and approval
