)AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
�1AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 58802 BY REZOVTNG CERTAIN SPECI-
FICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "B" TWO P ?ILY RESIDENTIAL
CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "B" Two Family Residential Classification to
District "C" Multiple Family Residence Classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did refer said petition for rezoning
to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration,
hearing and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hear-
ing, study and consideration, did recommend to the City Council by
its report that the land hereinafter described be rezoned as here- ,
inafter provided; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
11by and through its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearing for
i the purpose of rezoning to be published three consecutive clays in a
,
,,newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteenl
days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein
such notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing and expressinl
their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendation of
the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on this 3rd day of March, 1969, has conducted said hearing and
heard the views of all persons expressing an interest in the
rezoning of the land hereinafter described.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
(Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended,
'!of said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect
i
ithe rezoning of the. following described property from its present
{District "B" Two Family Residential Classification to Distrint "C"
I
I�Multiple Family Residential Classification and the following
!described property is, and it is hereby rezoned accordingly:
(II "The real estate located and known as 1009 West High
I Street in the City of Jefferson, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
