rAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING THE NAMES!
OF CERTAIN STREETS, AVENUES, AND/OR ROADWAYS WITHIN THE CI`1'Y6 j
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
;adopted a resolution on the 6th day of January, 1969, declaring it
!necessary to change the names of streets herein listed, as follows:i

1. Taylor Drive (Greenberry Road area) propose change
to Green Meadow Drive; !
2. Porting-Schott Road (from Landwehr Hills Road to

dead-end) propose change to Capitol View Drive;
i
3 . A short un-named road extending north from the Rex
i! Whitton Expressway to Porting-Schott Road (Capitol
" I View Drive propose change to Ro]]ing Hills Road.;
4. Sun Valley Drive (north-south portion) propose
ji change to Sun Meadow Lane;
5. Cedar Hills Road (north-south portion) propose
change to Vieth Drive;
l� 6. Timber Lane (from intersection of Cedar Hills Road
and Oakridge Drive northerl and westerly to the
intersection of Timber Lane propose change to
II Timber Trail.

(; WHEREAS, said resolution was published for seven (7)

11consecutive days in the Jefferson City Post Tribune; and '
i WHEREAS, within four (4) weeks from the day of the last
! publication of said resolution, a majority of the resident property'
'1owners aloe that portion of each street described above did not

lifile with the City Clerk their written protest against such change
1: of name; and I
j WHEREAS, the City Council has , by ordinance, the power to
( change the names of such streets in accordance with the resolution
referred to herein.
INOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
iJEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: `

Section i. The name of the street. known as T y1 Drive is,

1j and it is hereby, changed to Green Meadow Drive.
Section 2. The name of the street known as Porting-Schott
!
l Road is, and it is hereby, changed to Capitol View Drive. j
Section 3. An unnamed street extending north from Highway !
50-63 to Capitol View Drive is hereby named RoXng Hills Road.

Section 4. The name of the north-south portion of a street
known as Sun Valley Drive is , and it is hereby, changed to Sun
Meadow Lane.
Section 5. The name of the north-south portion of the street
(known as Cedar Hills Road is, and it is hereby, changed to Vieth
Drive.
Section 6. The name of that portion of a street known as
Timber Lane (extending from the intersection of Cedar Hills Road
and Oakridge Drive northerly and westerly to the intersection of
Timber Lane) is , and it is hereby, changed to Timber Trail..
Section 7. Upon the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the City Clerk shall file a certified copy thereof with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri.
Section 8, This ordinance shall take 'efiect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
