ORDINANCE NO._
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECI-
FICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "A-2" SINGLE FAMILX RESIDENCE
,CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jeffer:so n, Missouri,

was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "A-2" Classification to District 1°C" Classifi-'�
cation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City
Planning & Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and
recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning & Zoning Commission, after hearing
study and consideration, by its report to the City Council,
recommended that the land mentioned in its report, and hereinafter
described in this ordinance, should be rezoned; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
by its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearing of rezoning to be
published three Consecutive days in a newspaper of general circula-
Ition within the City of Jefferson, Missouri, the last day of
(publication having been more than fifteen days preceding the date
of the hearing by the City Council, by which all interested parties
11were invited to appear before the City Council at the time and
place specified in the notice and be heard in support of, or in
opposition to, the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning
Commission; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
conducted said hearing and heard the views of all persons expressing
an interest in the rezoning of the land hereinafter described, on
the 17th day of March, 1969.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said
city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the
rezoning of the following described property from District "A-2"
Single Family Residence Classification to District "C" Multiple
Dwelling Classification, and the following described property is,
and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly: I
"Part of Outlot No. 54 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, and more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point that is 230. 75 feet
westerly of the southeasterly corner of Outlot No. 54,
which said point is also the southwesterly corner of
land conveyed to Henry J. Westhues, as shown of record
in deed of correction recorded in Book 104, page 331,
and in warranty deed recorded in Book 104, page 332 of
the Recorder' s records of Cole County, Missouri; thence
northerly with said Westhues ' west line 200 feet more
or less and the beginning point of this descri?tion;
thence continuing northerly with said Westhues west
line to the southerly line of Dawson Lane (now Karen
Drive) , thence westerly along said southerly line of
Dawson Lane (now Karen Drive) to the easterly line of
the Floyd Jarrett lot as shown of record in Book 93,
page 545 of the Cole County Recorder's records; thence
southerly and parallel with the easterly line of
Hoefer Lane (now Riverside Drive) 154.2 feet; thence
southwesterly 13.45 feet, more or less; thence
easterly parallel with the southerly line of said
Outlot to the point of beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in farce
49 from and after its passage and approval.
