ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY COLLECTOR, AND REPEALING SECTION 1 (6) OF ORDINANCE NO.
18026 OF THE CITY RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. City Collector Salary. The City Collector sball
receive the sum of seven hundred and fifty ($750.00) dollars per
month as salary; in addition thereto, the City Collector shall
receive, on all delinquent taxes, a sum equal to four (4%) per cent
lof the amount of all delinquent taxes plus the penalty thereon,
1 . which amount shall be added to the amount owed by the delinquent
taxpayer and collected from the person paying said delinquent taxes!.
Section 2. Repeal Clause. Section 1. (6) of Ordinance No.
8026, fixing the salary of the City Collector, be, and it is
hereby, repealed.
Section 3. Effective Date.; This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after -its passage and approval, as of
April 15, 1969,
