AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
;.; ( INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECI-
FICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "A-2" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE
CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "E" LOCAL COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petitioned in writing to rezone land from its present District
} "A-2" Single Family Residence Classification to a District "E"
Local Commercial Classification; and
' WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City
Planning and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and
recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after
hearing, study and consideration, by its report to the City Council

Irecommended that the land described hereinafter should be rezoned;

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
'by and through its City Cleric, has caused a notice of hearing, for
the purpose of rezoning, to be published three (3) consecutive days
" in. a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
� (15) days preceding the date of the hearing bj the City Council,
1wherein such notice of rezoning all interested parties were I�
requested to appear before the City Council at the time and place

specified therein, for the purpose of attending a public hearing

and expressing their views in support of or in opposition to the
i
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on the 15th day of April, 1969, conducted said hearing and heard
the views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of
the land hereinafter described.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
.JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended,
of said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect
the rezoning of the following described property from District "A-2'
Single Family Residence Classification to District "E" Local
Commercial Classification, and the following described property is,
and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"Lots Nos. 13, 140 159 16, 179 18, 193 202 21, 221,
23, 24 and 25 in the W. A. Beck Addition to the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as per plat of record in
Mr Plat Book No. 5 at Page 23, Cole County Recorder's
Office, Cole County, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
