ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING PART OF BOSS TERRACE DRIVE IN SAID CITY, AS A
PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND i
THE CLERK OF THE CITY TO EXECUTE ALL WRITTEN INSTRUMENTS RE-
}' QUIRED TO CONFIRM IN THE OWNERS OF THE ADJACENT LAND THEIR
f. REVERSIONARY RIGHTS IN THE VACATED RIGHT OF WAY. I

I WHEREAS, it has been shown to the City Council of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, that an owner of land adjacent to and
abutting upon part of Boss Terrace Drive in the City has
petitioned the City Council to vacate a part of the right of way Of
Atchison Street as a public thoroughfare; and
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not in-
_ convenience the public or the citizens of the city to discon-
tinue as a right of way for a public thoroughfare and vacate a
part of Boss Terrace Drive as described in Section 1 of this i
1 ordinance, NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: +
III Section 1. The City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, hereby declares it necessary, reasonable and proper to
i1 discontinue as a right of way for a public thoroughfare and
�I forever vacate the following described portion of Boss Terrace
Drive in said City:
"All that part of Boss Terrace Drive lying west of a
line that is 30 feet westerly of the centerline of
t) Boss Terrace Drive, also all that part of Boss Terrace
! Drive lying east of a line that is 30 feet easterly
j� of the centerline of Boss Terrace Drive. " J
�I Section 2. The statutory right of reversion in the owners
jI of the abutting property to the right of way of Boss Terrace
Drive above described, as provided by the laws of the State of
Missouri, is hereby expressly confirmed, and the Mayor and Clerk
of the city are hereby authorized and directed to execute all ,
written instruments required to confirm in the abutting property )
owners their reversionary rights in the land hereinabove
described and hereby vacated.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in +
