?; !; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
)was petitioned in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "C" Multiple Dwelling Classification to l
District "E" Local Commercial Classification; and '
WHEREAS the City Council did refer said petition for rezon- i

ling to the City Planning and Zoning Commission and the Housing
ilAuthority for their consideration, hearing and recommendation; and

�f WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission and the

; Housing Authority, after hearing, study and consideration, did
Irecommend to the City Council by their report that the land herein-

( after described be rezoned as hereinafter provided; and
j WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,

11by and through its City Clerk, has caused a notice of hearl.ng for
.' the purpose of rezoning to be published three (3) consecutive days

1Iin a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,

oolw I, Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen

1 days preceding the date of the hear;i.ng by the City Council,
1w herein su ch notice of rezoning all interested parties were

! requested to appear before the City Council at the time and place
ispecified therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing
jand expressing their views in support of or in opposition to the
recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and r
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,(
lion the 5th day of May, 1969, conducted said hearing and heard the
�iviews of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the

!! NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ijJEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended,
of said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect
the rezoning of the following described property from its present
District "C" Multiple Dwelling Classification to District "E" Local
Commercial Classification, and the following described property is,
y: and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"The south eighty (80-0") feet of Inlot 508 of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
