iIINCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECI-
FICALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM A DISTRICT t'AA" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE
CLASSIFICATION TO DISTRICT "I" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION.
s' II WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,

was petitioned in writing to rezone land from its present District

"AA" Single Family Residence Classification to a District "I" 'Light
' l Classification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council referred the petition to the City
lPlanning and Zoning Commission for its consideration, study and
!recommendation; and

i� WHEREAS, the City Planning and 'Zoning Commission, after hear-
ling, study and consideration, by its report to the City Council,
(recommended that the land described hereinafter should be rezoned;

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
by and through its City Cleric, has caused a notice of hearing, for
the purpose of rezoning, to be published three consecutive days in
a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
days preceding the date of the hearing by the City Council, wherein
such notice of rezoning all interested parties were requested to
!appear before the City Council at the time and place specified
( therein, for the purpose of attending a public hearing and express-
� ing their views in support of or in opposition to the recommendatio
of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council cfthe City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on this 15th day of April, 1969, conducted said hearing and heard
! the views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of

THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 4F
!,NOW JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,

as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5850, as amended, of said
Il�City) is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the
i,

' "AA"rezoning of the followin g described property from District
i
(Single Family Residence Classification to District "I" Light
11ndustrial Classification, and the following described property is,
and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
s j "A part of Section 23, Township 44, Range 12, in the
City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows :
"Beginning at the southwest corner of the northeast
quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 23, Township
44 north, Range 12 west, being also the northwest corner
of Lot 30 of Idlewild Subdivision as per plat of record
in Plat Book 6, Page 59, Cole County Recorder's Office;
thence easterly along the quarter quarter section line
to a point that is 1100 feet easterly of the east line
of the southwest quarter of said Section 23; thence
i northerly parallel to the quarter section line 500 feet;
thence westerly parallel to the quarter quarter section
line 800 feet to a point that is 300 feet easterly of
the quarter section line, which is also the easterly
right of way line of Idlewood. Ro d; thence northerly
300 feet from and parallel to the easterly line of
Idlewood Road to a point that is 300 feet north of the
�E southerly line of the northeast quarter of Section 23;
i thence westerly parallel to the quarter section line
to the westerly line of the southeast quarter of the
northwest quarter of said Section 23; thence southerly
I! along the quarter quarter section line to the point of
beginning."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval. I
