ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REGULATING THE
' OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON THE ROADWAYS OF THE CITY, AND
PROVIDING A PENALTY.

IBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
�iMISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Right of Way. A person operating a motor vehicle
,in an easterly direction on St. Marys Boulevard shall yield the
:right of way to a vehicle being operated on Beck Street, which is
i
entering or approaching so closely to the intersectionof said two
' streets as to constitute an immediate hazard.
Section 2. Penalty. Any person violating the preceding
section of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not more than one
Ii hundred ($100.00) dollars or be imprisoned in jail for not more

than ninety (90) days, or by punished by both such fine and
!imprisonment.

Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall. take effect
