IAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,. CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFY.ING' THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON; MISSOURI, AS
INCORPORATED INTO ORDINANCE NO. 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFI-
CALLY DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "C" MULTIPLE DWELLING CLASSIFI-
CATION TO DISTRICT "E" LOCAI. COMMERCIAL CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
was petitioned -in writing to rezone land hereinafter described from
its present District "C" Multiple Dwelling'Classification to
District "E" Local Commercial Classification; and
WHEREAS, the 'City Council did refer said petition for rezon-
ding to the City Planning and Zoning Commission and the Housing
!Authority for their consideration, hearing and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission and the
( Housing Authority, after hearing, study. and consideration, did
recommend to the City Council by their report that the land herein-
after described be rezorked as hereinafter provided; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
1by and through its City Clerk, has caused a notice .of hearing for
the purpose of rezoning to be published three (3) consecutive days

in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Jefferson,
�; Missouri, the last day of publication having been more than fifteen
(15) days preceding the date of - the hearing by the City Council,
wherein such notice of rezoning 'all interested parties were
}
Irequested to appear before the City Council at the time and place
specified therein for the purpose of attending a public hearing
and expressing their views in support of or in opposition to the
( recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
on the 5th day of May, 1969, conducted said hearing and heard the
views of all persons expressing an interest in the rezoning of the
Iland hereinafter described.
INOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I
( JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended,
of said city, is hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect
the rezoning of the following described property from 'its present
District "C" Multiple Dwelling Classification to District "E" Local
Commercial Classification.- and the following described property is,
and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly :
"All of Inlots 500-501-502-503-508-509-510 and 511 '
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
