AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING
ORDINANCE NUMBER 8049 OF THE CITY, PRESCRIBING THE NUMBER OF
PERSONNEL IN THE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND ENACTING A NEW
ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Police Department Personnel. `!.'he Police
Department of the City shall consist of the following:
Chief - - - - - - - 1
Assistant Chief - - 1
Captains - - - - - 3
Lieutenants - - - - 2 (1 to be Detective Lieutenant)
Sergeants - - - - - 6
Corporals - - - - - 3 (1 to be Policewoman)
Patrolmen - - - - - 34
Police Clerk - - - 1
Meter Maid- - - - - 1
Janitor - - - - - - 1,
Radio Dispatchers - 4
Section 2. Repeal Clause. Ordinance Number 8049 of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to the number of personnel
in the City Police Department, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
