AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING THE
NAME OF HOOD STREET (FROM BUEHRLE DRIVE TO WEST EDGEWOOD DR. )
TO DOGWOOD DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the property owners along Hood Street (from
Buehrle Drive to West Edgewood Drive) have petitioned the City
Council to change the name of Hood Street (from Buehrle Drive
to West Edgewood Drive) to Dogwood Drive.
WHEREAS, the City Council has, by ordinance, the power
to change the names of streets .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. Change the name of Hood Street (from Buehrle
Drive. to West Edgewood Drive) to Dogwood Drive.
SECTION 2. Upon the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this ordinance
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri.
SECTION 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
