R-0 AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX AGAINST EACH LOT OR PIECE, OF GROUND LYING BETWBEN AND SITUATE WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF SEWER DISTRICT NO. 97B IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, IN THE NAME OF THE OWNER OR OWNERS THEREOF FOR CONSTRUCTING AND COMPLETING SEWERS TI-IEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It appearing from the written report of the Director of Public Works , the officer in charge of the work of construction and completing sewers in Sewer :=- ;,strict No. 97B in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, heretofore submitted by said officer to the City Council and approved and filed by it on this 3rd day of August, 1970, at a regular meeting of the City Council held on this date, that the total cost of construction and completing of said sewer as constructed amounts to the of $27,358.10, and it further appearing that said report of said o ieer did apportion said costs against the several lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 97B, exclusive of streets in proportion to the area of the whole of said District No. 97B exclusive of the public highways, and it further appearing that the total number of square feet contained in the aggregate number of lots and pieces of ground situated in the said Seaver District No. 97B, exclusive of the public highways therein, amounts to 726, 306 square feet. And it further appealing from the said report that on proper apportionment of said costs such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 97B, so situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District No. 97B is chargeable with the sum of $ .0376674 per square foot. Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of construction aracompletion of sewers in said Sewer District No. 97B together with all necessary laterals, inlets, catch basins, manholes, and other necessary appurtenances thereto appertaining, there is hereby Levied and assessed against the several and hereinafter described lots or pieces of ground within the bounds of said Sewer District No. 97B, situated in the name of the respective name of the owner or owners of said lots or pieces of ground, for a special tax at the rate of $ .0376674 per square foot for each and every square foot of ground so situated as aforesaid. SECTION 2. Each of the lots or pieces of ground so mentioned and referred to in Section 1 of this Ordinance, against which a special tax bill is specified in Section 1 of this ordinance is levied and assessed and the same is hereby levied and assessed and the description of said 1 or pieces of ground and the name of the owner or owners thereof in - 2 - which the tax is levied and assessed and the cost per square foot and the amount assessed each lot or piece of ground in said Sewer District No. 97B, situated in the name of the owner or owners thereof, the number square feet owned by each property holder in the lots or pieces of ground owned by each owner in said Sewer District No. 97B is as follows : Donald R. Beck and Joan M.
