Lockport Street Attendees: Tim Stetenfeld, Mike Paris, Michael Konrad, Greg Schaefer, Steve Preze, Sandy Benson (representing Brian Davis), Troy Strange, Anna Trost, and Harold Oliver. Also: Brian Murphy, Michael Garrigan, Jon Proulx, Rick Kaczanko, and Amy De Boni. The meeting was called to order at 7:35 a.m. Pat Harbour and Michael Blaylock were absent. Public Comments: None. Business Meeting The minutes of the December 12, 2012 Meeting were approved (6 ‐0). Michael Garrigan reviewed the Vision for Division study results and illustrations. The proposed Dunkin Donuts was discussed and the Task Force provided feedback. Jon Proulx highlighted the Riverfront development plans. Currently, the focus is on the south side of Lockport Street with the pedestrian bridge that is under construction and the DuPage River Trail. Rick Kaczanko showed the Task Force the new design for the Village web site which incorporates documents in Laserfiche and is easier to access on mobile devices. Michael Garrigan updated the Task Force on the Business Evolution Center. The Village continues to receive inquiries about space and there is only one vacancy at this time. New businesses utilizing space include a children’s author and a home helpers business. Vintage Tech is utilizing space while they renovate the former Fox Valley Press building. Mr. Garrigan also: Updated the Task Force on industrial expansions including Vintage Tech, Coil Plus, and Peterson Manufacturing. Highlighted new businesses in the Village such as McDonald’s, Chipotle, and Which Wich. The Village is also planning to attend ICSC’s RECon.
