ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PARKING AUTHORITY TO HIRE PERSONNEL
FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENFORCING ALL TRAFFIC ORDINANCES AND REGULA-
TIONS RELATING TO PARKING METERS AND CITY OWNED PARKING LOTS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Parking Authority is hereby authorized and
empowered to employ personnel for the purpose of enforcing the
Ordinances and regulations of the City relating to parking on the
streets of the City of Jefferson and on City owned parking lots.
1` Section 2. Said personnel shall have the power to issue
parking tickets and summons for violation of the parking
< Ordinances.
Section 3. Said personnel shall have the power to remove
any vehicle from the City owned parking lots or streets in the City
of Jefferson, in the same manner and under the same Ordinances
governing the removal of such vehicles by police personnel.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
