ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED IN ORDINANCE 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND.
WARD 4 PRECINCT 4
GENERAL LOCATION Intersection of
Industrial Drive and Highway 179.
ZONING CHANGE FROM A-1 TO J
WHEREAS, the above described area has been considered for
rezoning, and a hearing held on said change, after due notice to
all parties ; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in
Ordinance 5880 have been complied with.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. That the following described real property be
rezoned from "A-l" Single Family to "J" Heavy Industry, and the
following described property is and it is hereby rezoned
accordingly:
From the northeast corner of Section 3; thence S 5023 'E,
along the section line, 505. 71 feet to the south Line of
Industrial Drive; thence continuing S 5°23 'E, along the
section line, 1467.37 feet; thence N 8404.7'30"W,].390.03
feet to a quarter quarter section line; thence N 5017 '30"
W, along the quarter quarter section line, 1254.80 feet
to the south line of North Ten Mile Drive; thence along
the south line of North Ten Mile Drive on the following
courses and distances ; N 86009 'E, 59.95 feet; thence
N 71009'E, 75.0 feet; thence N 61053 'E, 100.0 feet ;
thence N 58003 'E, 133.35 feet to the south line of
Missouri State Highway Right-of-way; thence N 76039'E,
along said south Right-of-way Line, 243 . 75 feet to the
south line of Industrial Drive; thence S 81059 'E, along
the south line of Industrial Drive, 805.80 feet to the
point of beginning. Containing in all 45.45 acres ,
more or less . Bearings are magnetic .
Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in effect immediately
upon its passage and approval.
