AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 7190 OF THE CITY REGULATING THE OPERATION OF
TAXICABS WITHIN THE CITY, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 8257, ESTABLISH-
ING THE RATES OF FARE OF TAXICABS, AND ENACTING A NEW ORDINANCE
RELATING TO TIME SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Re2eal Clause. Ordinance No. 8257, prescribing
the rates chargeable by taxicabs within this City be and the
same is hereby repealed.
-.• Section 2. Taxicab Rates. There is hereby enacted a new
provision, to be known as Section 11 of Ordinance No. 7190 , to
regulate the rates of fare of taxicabs, and said provisions shall
read in words and figures as follows:
"Section 11. Rates of fare for transportation.
From and after the effective date of this ordinance ,
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, associa-

r ; tion or corporation, engaged in the operation of a
� r taxicab business under a Certificate of Convenience
and Necessity within the limits of the City, to
y charge a rate of fare either less or greater than

follows: !
.60 for the first one--fourth mile ,
. 10 for each additional one-fifth mile �
s.zy, I .25 for each additional passenger over one passenger

$6 .00 per hour for waiting time
$1.25 miaimunt on all deliveries i

Section 3. Effective Date . This ordinance shall take !
