ORDINANCE NO._
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED IN ORDINANCE 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND.

GENERAL LOCATION West McCarty-Havana-Hart Streets
ZONING CHANGE F*'jM "A-1" to "D" Multiple Dwelling
WHEREAS , the above described area has been considered for
rezoning, and a hearing held on said change, after due notice to
all parties ; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in
Ordinance 5880 have been complied with.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real property be
rezoned from "A-1" Single Family to "D" Multiple Dwelling, and
the following described property is and it is hereby rezoned
accordingly:
The southerly 50 feet of Lots numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4,
of Block No. 52 in Lower Jefferson (known also as
Crandall's Addition to Jefferson City) particularly
described as follows :

Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot No. 1, thence
northerly along the easterly line of said Lot 50 feet,
thence westerly parallel with the southerly lines of said
lots to the westerly line of said Lot 4, thence, southerly
along the westerly line of said Lot 50 feet, to the scuth•- i
westerly corner, thence easterly along the southerly Iiries ,
of said lots , to the southeasterly corner of said 'Lot No. 1,
the place of beginning.
Also - The northerly part of Lots Nos . 13, 14, 1.5 and 16,
in Block No. 5, in Lower Jefferson (also known as Crandal.l' s
Addition) to the City of Jefferson, Missouri, more particu-
larly described as follows :
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot No. 16; thence
southerly along the westerly line of Hart Street, 59 feet;
thence westerly parallel with McCarty Street, 200 feet, to
the westerly line of Lot No. 13; thence northerly along
the westerly line of said Lot, 59 feet, to the northwesterly
corner thereof; thence easterly along the northerly line of
Lots Nos. 13, 14, 15 and 16, 200 feet to the point of
beginning.

Also - The south half of Lots No. 13, 14, 15 and 16 of
Block No. 5 in Lower Jefferson (known also as Crandall's
Addition to the City of Jefferson) , the metes and bounds
being as follows :
Beginning; at the southeast corner of Lot No. 16, thence
north along and with the line of Hart Street 99 feet
4k inches ; thence west parallel with McCarty Street to a
point within 20 feet of the western boundary line of
Lower Jefferson; thence south parallel with said western
line of Lower Jefferson to McCarty Street; thence east
along and with McCarty Street to the place of beginning.
Also - The middle parts of Lots Nos . 13, 14, 15 and 16 of
Block No. 5 in Lower Jefferson (known also as Crandall's
Addition to the City of Jefferson) more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning on the easterly line of Lot No. 16 in said
Block No. 5, 59 feet from the northeasterly corner of
said lot; thence running westerly parallel with McCarty
Street 200 feet to the westerly line of Lot No. 13 in
said Block; thence southerly with said line 40 feet,
4k inches ; thence easterly parallel with McCarty Street
200 feet to the easterly line of Lot No. 16 in said
Block; thence northerly with said line 40 feet 4k inches
to the point of beginning.
Also - All that part of the south half of Lot No. 13 in
Block No. 5 in Lower Jefferson (known also as Crandall's
Addition) to the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that was
not conveyed on July 31st, 1.899, by a deed which is of
record in Book No. 23, at page 29, Cole County Recorder's
Office.
EXCEPT that part condemned by the City described as :
The southerly parts of Lots 13, 14, 15 and 16 of Block
No. 5 in Lower Jefferson Addition, as shown in Plat Book.
No. l at Page 16, filed in the Office of Recorder of
Deeds , Cole County, Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning on the westerly line of Lot No. 13 at a
point 133 feet southerly of the northwesterly corner
thereof; thence in a southeasterly direction in a direct
line for a distance of 213 feet to the southeasterly
corner of Lot No. 16 in Block 5 of Lower Jefferson;
thence westerly along the southerly line of Lots Nos .
16, 15, 14 and 13 and the northerly Line of McCarty Street
181 feet to the easterly line of Havana Street and the
westerly line of Lower Jefferson; thence north along the
westerly line of Lower Jefferson 40 feet to the westerly
line of Lot 13; thence northerly along the westerly line
of Lot 13 for a distance of 38 feet to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval. t
