ORDINANCE NO. �8t.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CLERK OF THE CITY TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
Wilbur Ridenhour , Contr. , for repair work on City
Hall building.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed, for and in the name of the City, to
execute a written contract with Wilbur Ridenhour, Contr.

City Hall building
for the sum of $1 ,100. 00
SECTION 2. A copy of said contract is attached hereto.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval .

CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC WORK
THIS CONTRACT , made and entered into this 52,) �/ day of
19 -7 a , by and between John G. Christy , President of the City Council of
*he City of Jefferson , Missouri , a municipal corporation of the third

class of the State of Missouri , Party of the First Part , and who acts
for and on behalf of the City of Jefferson, Wilbur Ridenhour,
Contractor , Party of the Second Part , WITNESSETH:
THAT, WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
did on the 7d' day of /qvq,y, - 19^7 , award to the Party of
the Second Part , Wilbur Ridenhour , Contractor the con-
tract for the improvement of City Hall . To replace window sills ,_
tuck point west wall , repair existing stucco and paint south wall
to cover repair work
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the awarding of this
contract and the work thereunder by said First Party hereto , the City
f Jefferson, Missouri , to the Second Party, Wilbur Ridenhour,
Contractor , the said Second Party does hereby con-
tract and agree to do and perform said work, above specified and referred

The Second Party agrees to completely indemnify and hold harmless
the City of Jefferson for any and all damages , injuries , actions , costs ,
attorneys ' tees and all other expenses whatsoever, arising out of the
erformance of said work whether the property or persons damaged are the
ervants and employees of the Second Party , or third parties in no manner
connected with said work. All interlineations , corrections , deletions and
changes herein have been made prior to the execution of this contract.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their hands and

We hereby submit specifications and estimates, subject to all terms and conditions as set forth on both sides, as follows:
VIEST SIDE OVER ROOF AREA
All bad masonry joints will be cut out and tuck pointed. Entire
area will then be coated with a white water proofing cement.
SOUTH SIDE STUCCO AREA
All cracks and bad stucco will be cut out and repaired.
One (1) coat of water proof masonry paint will then be applied.
Four (4) rock sills will be removed and replaced with a concrete
sill. _A so -bad wood sills will be replaced and to molding
board will be replaced, All o enin_ s will be caulked. :Down
spout will be removed and plastered behind it, then replaced.
