AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON BY INCREASING THE FINE FOR VIOLATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend Section 13. 010, Penalty, to read as
follows:
Section 13.010. Penalty. 1. Any person
violating any of the provisions of Section
1. 010 through 11. 050 shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof,
shall be punished by a fine of not more than
$500. 00 , or by imprisonment in jail for not
more than 90 days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
2. All towing and storage expenses, if any,
remaining unpaid by any person convicted of
a violation of any of the provisions of
Sections 10. 010 through 10. 320 shall be added
to any fine assessed under Subsection 1. of
this Section and collected with the fine.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
