SAN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER DISTRICT 11123, DEFINING BUUNU- 1
IARIES THEREOF AND PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND CONS'T'RUCTION
OF SEWERS IN SAID SEWER DISTRICT #123 WITHIN THE CITY OF JEFFER-
iISON, MISSOURI .
IBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . That the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , hereby declare that it deems it necessary for the health
and comfort of the inhabitants of the City, and for sanitary pur-
poses , that there must be constructed and improvements made as soon
as possible in Sewer District #123 as established and defined here-
in, a sanitary sewer, and it is ordered that the same be made and
constructed without unnecessary delay, and that Line "A" of said
district sewer connect to an existing sewer at Station 5+77 . 0
Knaebel Bluff Subdivision, Private Sewer #227 and that Lane "B"
connect to an existing sewer at M. H. #941 of Sub-Trunk "A" of
East Boggs Creek .
SECTION 2 . Sewer District #123 is hereby established with
boundaries as follows :
Part of the northeast fractional quarter of Section 16, Town-
ship 44, Range 11, Cole County, Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the south line of said northeast frac -
tional quarter, said point being 650 . 10 feet west of the south-
easterly corner of said fractional quarter section; thence N 1°00 E,
20 . 0 feet to the point of beginning of this description; thence
S 88030 'W, 975 . 5 feet; thence N 1°001E, 170 feet; thence N 88°30 E,
435. 5 feet ; thence N 1°001E, 150 feet; thence N 88°301E, 150 feet;
thence S 1°00 'W, 150 feet; thence N 88°331E, 135 feet; thence
S 1°001W, 20 feet; thence N 88°301E, 75 feet; thence N 1°001E, 10
feet; thence N 88°331E, 180 feet; thence S 1°00 'W, 160 feet to
the point of beginning.
Except the following described tract of land reserved for
right-of-way purposes :
Beginning at a point on the south line of said northeast
fractional quarter, said point being 980. 10 feet west of the
southeasterly corner of said fractional quarter section; thence
N 1°00 'E, 20. 0 feet to the point of beginning of this description; +
thence continuing N 1°001E, 150. 0 feet ; thence S 88°301W, 60, 0
feet; thence S 1°001W, 150. 0 feet; thence N 880301E, 60 . 0 feet to
the point of beginning. 1
SECTION 3. Said sewer shall be as follows :
Line "A" of Sewer District #123 shall begin at Station 5+77 . 0
Aahk Knaebel Bluff Subdivision, Private Sewer #227 , extending the exist ng
sewer line which has a bearing of S 87°141E a distance of 93. 32
feet; thence S 66°121E, 222. 68 feet; thence S 880381E, 132 .90
feet to the point of termination of Line "A" .
Line "B" of Sewer District #123 shall begin at existing M. H.
#941 of sub-trunk "A" of East Boggs Creek; thence S 88°361E,
111 . 84 feet; thence S 0°08 ' E, 263. 16 feet; thence N 86°421E0
275. 35 feet; thence S 410291E, 79. 65 feet to the point of termina-
tion of line "B" .
SECTION 4 . Said sewer shall be constructed in all respects
as provided by ordinance and shall be constructed according to the
plans and specifications on file in the office of the Director of
Public Works . All crafts and classes of labor used in constructio
of this sewer shall be paid the prevailing hourly rate as determin d
by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the State
of Missouri .
SECTION 5 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
