AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI CHANGING
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS INCORPORATED IN ORDINANCE 8508, BY REZONING CERTAIN
SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED LAND,
WARD Two
GENERAL LOCATION North of Missouri River
between Old Highway 5
and new Missouri River Bridge.
ZONING CHANGE TO C-3, Central Commercial District.
WHEREAS, the above described area has been considered for
rezoning, and a hearing held on said change, after due notice to
all parties ; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in
Ordinance 8508 have been complied with
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real property be
rezoned from RC, Conservation District, to C-3, Central Commercial
District, and the following described property is and it is hereby
rezoned accordingly:
Part of the northeast quarter, Section 16, Township
44 N. Range 11 W, in the County of Callaway, Missouri,
more particularly described as follows:
From the center of said Section 16; thence N 0044'00"
W. along the quarter section line 30. 92 feet to the point
of beginning for this description, said point being on
the westerly line of U.S.Route 54 and 63; thence
N 33053100" E along said westerly line 905.05 feet; i
thence N 4046;35" W, along said westerly line 128.06 feet;
thence N 33053'00"W, along said westerly line '118.05 feet;
thence N 54034'20"W, 708.99 feet to the Quarter Section
Line; thence S 0044'00"E, along the Quarter Section Line
1386.86 feet to the point of beginning. Containing in all
9.963 acres .
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and afteer, the date of its passage and approval.
