AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE, BY REPEALING
SECTIONS RELATING TO STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF
DIX ROAD-INDUSTRIAL AVENUE; EAST CAPITOL AVENUE-MADISON STREET;
EAST CAPITOL AVENUE-MONROE STREET; DUE TO INSTALLATION OF THE
TRAFFIC SIGNALS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend Ordinance 8177, The Parking and Traffic
Code, Section 6.160, Right of way; specific intersections, by
striking: 1127 . Monroe Street - North or South - Capitol Avenue."
Section 2. Amend Ordinance 8177, The Parking and Traffic
Code, Section 6.190, Stop Signs , Sub-section B. Other specific
intersections:
By striking "(440) Dix Road before entering Industrial Drive."
By striking "(700) Industrial Drive before entering Dix Road."
By striking "(277) Capitol Avenue before entering Madison Street.'
By striking "(86''2) Madison Street before entering Capitol Avenue.'
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
