AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF.- JEFFERSON, MISSOURI AMENDING ORDINANCE
8503 RELATING TO FIXING THE SALARIES AND EXPENSE ACCOUNTS OF CITY
( ELECTIVE AND APPOINTIVE OFFICIALS, BY REPEALING SUBSECTION C OF
SECTION 1, THEREOF, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION RELATING TO THE
( SAME SUBSECTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subsection 6 of Section 1 of Ordinance 8503
relating to the salary of -the City Collector be it the same is
hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted a new provision relating
to the salary of the City Collector to be known as Subsection 6
of Section 1 of 8503 which shall read in words and figures as
follows:
Section 1 (6) The City Collector shall receive the sum of
$900 per month as salary, and in addition thereto the City
, Collector shall receive, on the delinquent taxes, a sum equal to
four (4%) per cent of the amount of all delinquent taxes, a sum
equal to penalty thereon, which amount shall be added to the
, amount owed by the delinquent taxpayer and collected from the
( person paying said delinquent taxes.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after ZZ, 1973.
