ORDINANCE NO. &Q--t
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF VALLEY PARK WEST SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Missouri Power & Light Company, owner of the
real estate hereinafter described and situated in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, having submitted to the Council for approval
a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson City, Cole
County, Missouri, and more particularly described as follows :
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 3, all in Township 44 N, Range 12
W, in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri,
and more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest Corner of the North-
east Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section
10; thence N 830 02' 10" E, along the Section Line ,
685 . 13 feet to the West Line of the Re-Plat of Schell-
ridge Subdivision, per plat of record in Plat Book 7 ,
Page 43, Cole County Recorder' s Office; thence S 40 52'
30" E, along the said West line, 688.60 feet to the
Southwest Corner of Lot 27 , of said Subdivision; thence
N 830 11' 30" E, along the South Line of said Lot 27 ,
280.25 feet to the West Line of Schellridge Road; thence
S 100 31 ' 30" W, along said West Line of Schellridge
Road, 192.80 feet; thence S 50 36 ' 42" E, along the
West Line of Schellridge Road, 130.0 .feet; thence along
the West Line of Schellridge Road, on a curve to the
right , having a radius of 130.0 feet , a distance of
184.33 feet; thence continuing along the Schellridge
Road and Country Club Drive .right-of-way the following
courses and distances , S 760 37' 35" W, 486 . 15 feet;
thence S 590 14' 02" W, 150.80 feet ; thence Westerly on
a curve to the right , having a radius of 651.87 feet, a
distance of 210. 11 feet; thence N 84° 55 ' 08" W, 172. 25
feet; thence S 71 14' 10" W, 15 . 15 feet; thence N 84°
56 ' 40" W, 893.67 feet; thence N 50 03' 20" E, 25 .0
feet; thence N 840 56 ' 40" W, 142.86 feet; thence leav-
ing the North Line of Country Club Drive , N 50 10' 30"
W, 1233. 15 feet; thence S 79 14 ' 40" E, 1267.00 feet
to the Quarter Quarter Section Line; thence N 5° 34 '
20" W, along the Quarter Quarter Section Line, 123. 11
feet to the point of beginning. Containing in all,
54.00 Acres. Bearings are magnetic.
Section 2. It appearing that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said Subdivision,
known and referred to as Valley Park West Subdivision, that all
taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements
of Chapter 445 , Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1969 , and amendments
thereto, entitled "Plats ," have been fully complied with by the
aforesaid owner of said Subdivision, and that in all respects the
requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats and subdivisions have been
complied with, NOW THEREFORE:
The plat of land of Missouri Power & Light Company, known
and referred to as Valley Park. West Subdivision, lying, being and
situate within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , as shown by the said plat hereto attached and made a
part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the
City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and the Mayor of
said City and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
after the passage and approval of this ordinance are given the
authority and are hereby directed to endorse acceptance of said
plat thereon and to certify to the approval of same under the seal
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
