Building Committee Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, May 25, 2022 Virtual Meeting 5:30 PM
Call to Order/Agenda Changes/Recording Notification
Chair Greg Levasseur called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and read the recording notification.
In attendance: Chris Easley, Tom Faris, Harry Terkanian,Jody Craven, Lisa Orlandella, Giovanna
Venditti,Tom Fitzgibbons, Ron Collins,Tony Nannini, Peter Wade, Kathleen Tringale,Jim Nowack,
Amanda Sawyer,Alyssa Chatani, Brian Hores,Jorge Cruz,Joe Sullivan

A. Discussion with review grouy from Daedalus/CHA and Flansbureh
Alyssa Chatani and Amana Sawyer shared that Daedalus met with 1 &J Construction to review the
proposal and bid. Daedalus completed the scope review, and all questions were answered. George
Cruz from Flansburgh confirmed J &J Construction is a good firm with no issues,they are the
company that completed the original construction for installation of the modulars at Lincoln.
Harry Terkanian commented he has no issues with the low bidder as long as they are responsive
and responsible.Time was allotted for discussion and questions from the committee.
B. VOTE to hire the qualified contractor to relocate 37 modular classrooms from Lincoln Public
Schools 8 Ballfield Road Lincoln MA to 100 Cable Road North Eastham MA
Greg Levasseur made a motion for the committee to accept the bid from J &J Construction in the
amount of$5,007,000.00 and hire them for the move and installation of 37 modular classrooms
from Lincoln Public Schools at 8 Ballfield Road in Lincoln MA to Nauset Regional High School at 100
Cable Road in North Eastham. Jody Craven seconds the motion.A roll call was taken

Time was allotted for questions to be answered and topics to be discussed about the project.
IV ADJOURNMENT
Greg Levasseur made a motion to adjourn the meeting.Tom Fitzgibbons second the motion. The
committee votes unanimously by a show of hands. Meeting adjourned at 5:37pm.
