HomeMy Public PortalAboutNauset School Building Committee -- 2022-04-06 Minutes Nauset Regional High School __ __ Building Committee Meeting Minutes Wednesday, April 6, 2022 Virtual Meeting 5:30 PM - - `�4 _f , I Call to Order/Agenda Changes/Recording Notification Chair Greg Levasseur called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and read the recording notification. In attendance: Chris Easley, Tom Faris, Harry Terkanien,Jody Craven, Lisa Orlandella Peter Wade, Kathleen Tringale,Jim Nowack, Griffin Ryder, Brooke Clenchy,Jackie Beebe, Amanda Sawyer, Alyssa Chatani, Brian Hores,Jorge Cruz, Madeline Le, Kent Kovacs One change to the agenda. Under Item B, after the Flansburgh presentation,the committee will vote to approve the 90%submission to the MSBA on April 8, 2022. 11 Citizens Speak None III Priority Business A. Daedalus CHA update on contractor pregualification process Allysa Chantani updated the committee on the prequalification submission and review. Daedalus met with the prequalification committee after the submissions were received and uploaded them to a shared link.The elevator trade has been readvertised.The criteria used to square the submissions was shared with the prequalification committee, Daedalus will collaborate with reviewing, scoring, and reaching out to references.Alyssa also discussed the DCAMM process (Division of Capital Assessment Management and Maintenance) and noted that Daedalus is in the process of drafting a letter to pull the DCAMM submissions through the State. Our three volunteers,three people from the awarding authority, one person from the OPM and one person from the design team make up the committee. The process is ongoing and Daedul will have an update at the next building committee meeting. Aylssa updated the committee with a progress report. 90% Construction Documents are finalized Submission to the MSBA is due on April 8th. The modular package is ongoing. Procurement of the moving company services has begun for moving in Fall 2022.The prequalification committee has met to review the scoring process. Continued working group and school department meetings are ongoing. The procurement Schedule was reviewed. On April 27th the building committee will review and vote to approve the prequalification applications to bid.The Modular Procurement schedule was reviewed. The building committee meeting schedule was shared, the committee will meet about every three weeks. We are still tracking on budget and continuing to submit propays. Time was allotted for questions. B. Flansbur�h update on 90%plan design Kent Kovacs shared that Flansburgh is submitting the 90%construction documents and wrapping up the detail. We are tracking slightly over from the reconciled estimates so the committee will have some value engineer exercises.The MSBA package is ready to submit. need to be adjusted due to a potential conflict with a regional school committee meeting. IV ADJOURNMENT Chris Easley makes a motion to adjourn the meeting. Griffin Ryder seconds the motion. The committee votes unanimously by a show of hands. Meeting adjourned at 6:13pm.
