AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY
PERSON TO FAIL TO APPEAR ON A TRAFFIC CITATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend Article 4 Enforcement and Obedience
to Traffic Regulations by adding a new section number to be
known as Section 4.100 to read as follows :
Section 4. 100 Failure to Obey Ci'tat'ion it shall be
unlawful for any person to violate his written
promise to appear given to an officer upon the
issuance of a traffic citation regardless of the
disposition of the charge for which such citation
was originally issued.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
