ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST
THE LOTS AND TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY
OF West Main Street from Forest Hill West to Route 179 ,
IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS OF SAID
ROADWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the
rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of
this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land
fronting or abutting on the roadway of West Main Street from
Forest Hill West to Route 179 , in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, for improvement of said roadway, the sum of $50,678.65
as the total costs of the improvement of said tract and the
number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway, amount
to 10,135. 73 front feet; the cost price per front foot is
$5. 00
SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvements
of said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of
$5. 00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground
fronting or abutting said roadway, and containing- in such lot
or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway.
SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners an
the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abut-
ting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet
owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tract
of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price
per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied
and assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each
lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is
listed as follows :

and in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to
said work .
SECTION S . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
