AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS AND TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING ON THE ROADWAY OF West Main Street from Forest Hill West to Route 179 , IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS OF SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting on the roadway of West Main Street from Forest Hill West to Route 179 , in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for improvement of said roadway, the sum of $50,678.65 as the total costs of the improvement of said tract and the number of front feet fronting or abutting said roadway, amount to 10,135. 73 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $5. 00 SECTION 2. For the purpose of paying said improvements of said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $5. 00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and containing- in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway. SECTION 3.
