ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST
THE LOTS AND TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING, ON THE ROADWAY
OF Southwest Boulevard between Swifts Highway North and
Westwood Drive
IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS OF
SAID ROADWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,

MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the
-rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2,
of this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land
fronting or abutting on the roadway of Scut west, Boulevard
between Swifts Highwgvy th and WeG .wood Dr i rP ,
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said
roadway, the sum of $13,044 . 60 as the total costs of the
improvement of said tract and the number of front feet fronting
or abutting said roadway, amount to 2608. 92 front feet; the
cost price per front foot is $5 . 00 .
SECTION 2 . For the purpose of paying said improvements of
said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of
$5 . 00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground
fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or
piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway.

SECTION 3. The name of each property owner or owners and

the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abut-
ting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet
owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts
of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per
front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and
assessed as a special tax for said improvement against each lot
or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed
as follows :

of the Southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 44 , Range
12, in the City of Jefferson , Cole County, Missouri , more
particularly described as follows : From the northeast
corner of the West half of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 12 ; thence South 9°23' West, along the quarter '
quarter Section line, 795 feet , to the beginning point of
this description; thence North 89° 52 ' West, 484 .67 feet,

SECTION 4 . That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
make out special tax bills in favor of the contractor,
Roy A. Scheperle Construction Company, Inc. ,
for the within mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances
of the City of Jefferson, Missouri , relative to said kind of work
and in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to
said work.
SECTION S . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
