AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 7190 OF THE CITY REGULATING THE OPERATION OF
TAXICABS WITHIN THE CITY, REPEALING SECTION 11 OF ORDINANCE NO.
7190 , ESTABLISHING THE RATES OF FARE OF TAXICABS, AND ENACTING
IA NEW ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Repeal Clause. Section 11 of Ordinance No. 7190
prescribing the rates chargeable by taxicabs within this City be
and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. Taxicab Rates. There is hereby enacted a new

provision, to be known as Section 11 of Ordinance No. 7190 , to
regulate the rates of fare of taxicabs, and said provisions shall

"Section 11. Rates of fare for transportation.
From and after the effective date of this ordinance,
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, associa-
tion or corporation, engaged in the operation of a
taxicab business under a Certificate of Convenience
�! and Necessity within the limits of the City, to
charge a rate of fare either less or greater than
follows:
. 70 for the first one-fourth mile
i� . 10 for each additional one-fifth mile
`i 25 for each additional passenger over one passenger
I $6 .00 per hour for waiting time
$1.25 minimum on all deliveries
. 40 extra on all grocery hauls
.25 extra on all extra stops "
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
