AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF
�) JEFFERSON, BY REDUCING THE SPEED LIMIT ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
HIGHWAYS 50, 63 AND 54 FROM 70 MILES PER HOUR TO 55 MILES PER
HOUR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
I MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Section 6. 010 Speed limit; paragraph 2,
Subsection A, shall be amended to read as follows :
I� 2. No vehicle shall be driven at a speed
in excess of:
lA. 55 miles per hour:
(a) On Highway 50-63 between Vetter' s
Lane underpass and the east city
I' limits line.

(b) On Highway 50 between Dix Road
! overpass and the west city limits
j� line.
(c) On Highway 54 between Ellis Boulevard
and the south city limits line.
I
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
