AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8287 , THE PUBLIC OFFENSE CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION PROHIBITING THE MAKING
OF ANY FALSE REPORT OR STATEMENT TO ANY POLICE OFFICER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amend Ordinance No. 8207 by adding a new

section to be known as Section 11.,&, and to read as follows:
Section 11. *. Making a false report
i
or statement.
"It shall be unlawful for any person to
knowingly make, or cause to be made,
any false report or statement to any
police officer or other city official
whose duty it is to enforce the or-
dinances of the City of Jefferson, con-
I cerhing any traffic accident, alleged
violation of a city ordinance, or
alleged violation of any criminal statute
of the State of Missouri. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
