AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177 , THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, BY PROVIDING THAT THE REGISTERED OWNER(F AN
ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLE BE PRIMA FACIE RESPONSIBLE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend the ordinance by adding a new section
to be known as 10. 330 , and to read as follows:
Scetion 10. 330. Registe"recl' owner prima
'facie responsible for violation.
"If any vehicle is found upon any alley,
roadway, street or property in violation
of any provision of Sec. 10. 101 through
10. 310, the owner or person in whose name
such vehicle is registered in the records
of any city, county or state shall be
held prima facie responsible for such
violation, if the driver thereof is not
present. "
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and titer its passage and approval.
