AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, BY PROVIDING THAT A PROTECTIVE COVERING BE REQUIRED
ON MOTOR VEHICLES TRANSPORTING MATERIALS THAT CAN BECOME
DISLODGED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Amend the ordinance by adding a new section
to be known as Section 7.230, and to read as follows:
Section 7. 230. ' Load's which might become
dislodged to be secured.
"All motor vehicles, and every trailer
and semitrailer operating upon the
streets and roadways of' this city
and carrying goods or material or farm
products which may reasonably be expected
to become dislodged and fall from the
vehicle, trailer or semitrailer as a re-
sult of wind pressure br air pressure
and/or by the movement of the vehicle,
trailer or semitrailer shall have a
protective cover or be sufficiently
secured so that no portion of such goods
or material can become dislodged and fall
from the vehicle, trailer or semitrailer
If while being transported or carried. "
jSection 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
