AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING .THE
MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO EXECUTE A QUIT
CLAIM DEED CONVEYING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OP: THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, in the development of the Urban Renewal Project Mo. ,
R-45 within .the City, and, in connection with the improvement
and realigning of Wears Creek, it has been the intention of
th.e. City' to convey certain parcels of land owned by the City
to .the .Housing Authority,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY..OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk of the .City of
Jefferson are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Quit
Claim Deed conveying to the Housing Authority of the. Cty of
Jefferson the following described property located in the City of
Jefferson and now owned by the City, to--wit:
Part of Inlots 619 and 626 particularly
described as follows:
The south half of Inlot 619 in the City of
Jefferson,• Missouri,
Also the south part of Inlot 620 more .par
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Inlot
620; thence. easterly along the southerly
line of said Inlot 104 feet 4 1/2 inches
. - to the southeast corner .of said Inlot;
thence northerly parallel with Jackson
Street 68" feet 9 -inches; thence westerly.`
paraliel with Miller Street 104 feet 4 1/2`
inches to the west line of Inlot 620;
thence southerly along the westerly line
of` said Inlot' 68 feet 9 inches to the. place
of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and a£ter, its passage and approval.
