HomeMy Public PortalAbout2007-05-15 PC Minutes VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD PLAN COMMISSION RECORD OF MINUTES DATE : May 1 5 , 2007 LOCATION: Village Hall Chairman Sobkoviak cal led the meeting to order at 7 05 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioners McKay, Renzi , Murawski and Chairman Sobk oviak Absen t: Park District, School District , Library District, Fire District, and Police Department Also Present: Michael Garrigan – Village Planner Village of Plainfield, Jonathan Proulx - Planner II Village of Plainfield , and Carol Millan – Secretar y Village of Pl ainfield MINUTES: The minutes from the May 1, 2007 meeting were accepted as presented. DEVELOPMENT REPORT Michael Garrigan presented the development report. He stated the following items were brought before the Village Board at their May 14, 2007 meetin g. Grande Park Neighborhoods 4, 5, & 6 – ordinances for the annexation agreement and special use for a planned development were approved . Grace Point Church – T he Village Attorney was directed to draft ordinances for the annexation agreement, annexation, rezoning, and special use for a planned unit development. The Site Plan and Preliminary Plat were also approved. Shops of Dayfield – The Village Board a ccepted the Plan Commission’s findings of fact and directed the Village Attorney to draft an ordinance for the special use for a drive -thru facility, and a major change to a planned development. They also approved the site plan subject to stipulations. Chatham Square, Phase 3 – The final plat of subdivision was approved. Commissioner Renzi asked whether t he exceptions that went forward were resolved and wanted to know if the wall would be built. Michael Garrigan stated the exceptions were resolved in fav or of the developer. The developer is not building the wall. He further stated the developer did agre e to incorporate a metal parapet in the rear. OLD BUSINESS: CASE: 1290 -122206.AA.RZ.SP0R PLFD. Commissioner Murawski seconded the motion. Chairman Sobkoviak called for a vote by roll call. Aye: McKay, Renzi, Murawski, and Chairman Sobkoviak Nay : 0 The motion is carried 4:0 CASE: 1303 -030507.MC.SPR PLAINFIELD BUSINESS PARK, LOT I -6 (BRENTWOOD CIRCLE ) Request: Major Change to a Planned (CONTINUED TO June 5, 2007) Development (Public Hearing) Site Plan Review Location: East Side of Illinois Rout e 59, north of W. Industrial Drive South Applicant: Michael LaCoco At 7:11 p.m. Commission er McKay made a motion that the Plan Commission continue the public hearing for Case #1303 -030507.MC.SPR to the June 5, 2007 Plan Commission Meeting. Commissioner M urawski seconded the motion. Chairman Sobkoviak called for a vote by roll call.
