AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PROHIBITING
T TTTHORIZED CONNECTION, TAMPERING, OR DAMAGE OF ANY LICENSED
1UNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM AND PROVIDING A PENALTY
T HERFFO R.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. No person, firm or corporation shall willfully
or maliciously tamper with, remove, cut, splice, or otherwise damage
or injure any wires, cables, devices or equipment owned by any
community antenna television system without the knowledge and consent
of its owner.
Section 2. No person, firm or corporation shall willfully
or maliciously attach to, or tamper with, any wires, cables, devices,
.aaw equipment of any community antenna television system, or in any

other manner establish any method for the purpose of receiving
television signals, radio signals, pictures, programs or sound thereby,
or for any other purpose without the knowledge and consent of the
owner of such system; or, knowingly and with intent to defraud,
receive or cause any other person to receive television signals,
radio signals, pictures, programs or sound from such system without
the knowledge and consent of the owner.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation who violates
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be
punished by a fine of not less than One Dollar ($1 .00) nor more
lWan Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for a
term not to exceed ninety (90) days or by both such fine and
imprisonment for each such violation.
Section 4. The effective date of this ordinance shall
be the day of the passage and approval of this ordinance .
