SECTION 1 . It appearing from the written report of the

(� Director of Public Works , the officer in charge of the work of
construction and completing sewers in Sewer District No. 126
and 126A, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , heretofore sub-
II mitted by said officer to the City Council and approved and

ii filed by it (,n the '-� day of , 19-114,_ , at a

regular meeting of the City Council held on this date, that the

total cost of construction and completing of said sewer as
constructed amounts to the sum of $25,448. 93, and it further

) appe^.ring that said report of said officer did apportion said

+I costs against the several lots or pieces of ground in said

liSewer District, exclusive of streets in proportion to the area
of the whole of said Sewer District exclusive of the public
I
II highways , and it further appearing that the total. number of
( square feet contained in the aggregate number of lots and pieces
II of ground situated in the said Sewer District, exclusive of the
i'
public highways therein, amounts to 280 , 541 square feet. And it
1� further appearing from the said report that on proper anportionme t
of said costs such lots or pieces of ground in said Sewer District,
so situated, each square foot of ground contained in said lots
or pieces of ground in said Sewer District is chargeable with
the sum of $0 . 090714 per square foot.
Now, therefore, for the purpose of paying for the work of
construction and completion of sewers in said Sewer District
together with all necessary laterals , inlets , catch basins ,
manholes , and other necessary appurtenances thereto appertaining,
i� there is hereby levied and assessed against the several and

SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to procee
at once to make out special tax bills under the seal of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri , of the aforesaid amounts against said
lots or pieces of land in the aforesaid Sewer District situated,

I mentioned and described in the heretofore mentioned sections of
{j this Ordinance in the name of the owner or owners thereof, which

said special and certified tax bills shall be signed by the Mayor
and attested and recorded by the City Clerk and delivered to the
Central Missouri Professional Services , Inc. , the Contractor of I
Ithe work of construction of the aforesaid sewers as provided and
required by the Charter of the City of Jefferson and the Ordinances
authorizing and ordering the construction of sewers in said Sewer
District heretofore passed and approved by the Council .
SECTION 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
